View from my dining room window of the late afternoon sky that is filled with murder after murder of crows. Layered over the stark sounds of the cawing crows heard against the street noise below the soundtrack by Fedir Tkachov transitions from wary to awe-struck. The poem Augury by Hannah Aizenman harkens back to ancient times when birds and other natural phenomena were seen as divine omens.
